Since 2017, the largest soft drink brand in the world has been encouraging people to ‘Share share a coke with’ a friend. Due to recent events, they recently stopped promoting their soft drinks with the label encouraging people to “Share a coke”.
Is this a coincidence?
In short terms, no. Coke has been dominating the soft drink industry for ages, their marketing plan is to sell more soft drinks, while encouraging the spread of COVID-19.
But how does this make sense?
After buying anything from any mainstream grocery store, you are putting yourself at risk for catching COVID-19. Therefore, if you are going to buy a drink to “share it with” a friend, you will be spreading the likeliness of sharing the virus as well.
